I am a Portland based photographer specializing in photojournalism of live music & events. Having grown up as an avid hiker and backpacker in the Pacific Northwest, I’m always carrying my camera into nature as well.

I appreciate the challenge of shooting concerts, working in adverse conditions, in tight venues with extreme lighting. I believe that there are certain defining moments at every show, the "highlight reel", the moments that people tell their friends about the day after the show. These are the moments I am always on the lookout for and I have applied those learnings to event photography as well. A photographer can't be omnipresent, but if you are observant you can anticipate where you should be to catch as many of those moments as possible.
